Creative Dog Sculptures Created From Bicycle Parts

By | October 12, 2014

When we think of bicycle parts, we usually just limit it’s use to what it’s meant for – which are bicycles. Israli sculptress Nirit Levav Packer really went beyond it’s use by creating a creative series of dog sculptures made out of discarded bicycle parts.

It started two years ago when visited a bike shop with her son and realised how fascinated she was bike parts. She started spending her days collecting junk -chains, gear parts, pedals and bells – and evenings a her studio creating the real-sized dog sculptures from the parts she collected.

Her works, despite having junk components, result to stunningly realistic sculptures. You may view more of them here which also detail the parts used.
