ARTEMOV ARTEL Design Studio of Ukraine worked on this project which entailed capturing the essence of a premium-quality, specialty coffee brand. Being significantly pricier than the regular brands, it needed a brand identity to appeal to the target audience.
Art directors Sergii Artemov and Gera Artemova, with the design skills of Artel Artyomovyh worked on both packaging and creating a concept identity of coffee briquettes for clients Paradise, Gourmet Club.
Each coffee type in the product line is unique to the region of its production. Hence the visual representation of individual packaging leverages a similar association to distinctive characters from local culture. Mystical , mythological characters of Barong (Indonesia), Furisiya (Yemen), La Tolita Culture (Ecuador), Mahakala (Nepal), Taino (Jamaica) and Tiki (Hawaii) inspires the vivid images which consumers can identify with the coffee producing countries.
The package shape (tube) helps easy pouring and storage in a crowded pantry location. The embossed graphic paper, wooden product collection box and rich, royal colors of black and golden combine to create an image projection of high-quality, premium product designed for elite customer base.
