Ilha Enevoada Artistic Port Wine Concept Design is artistic, clever and intuitive at the same time. It displays a rare touch of sophistication without going traditional.
The name Ilha Enevoada means ‘misty island’ in Portuguese. True to form, Russian designer Pavel Kulinsky unfurls a bottle and concept packaging which is a bold deviation from the traditional glass and austere design of wine bottles.
Instead he creates a visual association with the mist. The rugged, geometric edges of the bottle gives the feeling of an island terrain while the gradient colors going from white in the bottom to dark on top create a perfect aura of “mistiness”.
Bold, clear typefont in gold keeps the high-end touch intact without going gimmicky. A simple illustration of a silhouetted minaret forms part of the brand logo as well as adorns the seal on top. Mininmal use of golden elevates the product to a different level. Only brand name and alcohol percentage form part of the labeling, creating a no-fuss, simple impact.
