Innovative Coffee carrier concept design from Russian design agency Quantum Graphics blends creativity, two different marketing concepts and eco-friendly packaging.
Unveiled as an entry for Interpack 2011 Exhibition (as a part of Pan-European Branding and Design association – PDA), the design won hearts for being ergonomic, sustainable and bio-degradable for using recycled paper as the construction material.
There are two different motifs on display.
The first concept Awakening of senses uses a beautiful girl as the central, interactive character hook: when the package is closed the girl is “asleep” and her eyes appear closed. But once you open the lid the package edge underneath reveals open eyes, awakened by the aroma of great coffee.
The next concept is quirky, minimalist and one for subtle observation. Themed on Refreshing coffee every day, every time, it introduces interesting cartoon-ish characters, with actions and concepts woven around coffee. Notice closer, and you’ll see there are exactly seven characters – conveying that the coffee works every day of the week. A minimal look, with the coffee colored background, and hand-drawn, natural illustrations show that the ingredients are naturally sourced and good.
