French designer Marc Praquin whips up this highly recognizable design for a milk carton which incorporates the best features of the product. The Milk white color amply represents the product inside, as well as standing out in supermarket shelves from competing brands. The lack of colors lends the carton a touch of sophistication and classiness which crowded real-estate of information and colors can never achieve.
The embossed fonts explain the product name and quantity, while the nutrition information is relegated to the back. The only colors are reserved for big, bold fonts describing the percentage (in decimal values) of fat content (Full Fat being 1.0, Low Fat – 0.0). It is brilliant, intuitive and captivates the consumers from the word go.
