Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 smart camera design outlines the android add-on with ability to amp up photography experience on your portable device to the next level.
Panasonic premiered the new Lumix DMC-CM1 android smart camera with 1-inch sensor and Leica lens during the photokina event held in Cologne, Germany to commemorate their 175th anniversary in photography. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1 combines a 1 inch 20 Mega Pixel sensor, which is considered to be world’s largest sensor ever on a smartphone and a branded lens from Leica, a well established German optics company known for their cameras.
The Lumix DMC-CM1 smartphone boasts features like a 4.7-inch 1080p display, cellular network capability and Wifi. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in memory with expandable storage through the microSD slot which allows up to 128GB capacity. The Panasonic LUMIX Smart Camera DMC-CM1 will be initially available in limited quantities starting November 2014. The recommended retail price is 899 euros.
