Thailand based specialty dried tropical fruit makers, Confetti, rely on bold, colorful designs for the distinctive flavors they offer. With a market saturated with run-of-the-mill dried fruit products and packaging, the client Sino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and their brand: Confetti Dried Fruit needed a distinctive design.
Prompt Design, led by executive director Somchana Kangwarnjit and design director Tiptida Treeratwattana, blended the distinctive color identifiable with each fruit and gave it a flower motif, using shapes of meaningful flowers from Thai culture. The result is a beautiful package which attracts consumers and conveys the care and love with which these specialty dried fruits are made.
Mango stands for wealth, status and fame – perfectly represented in the minimal, ripe yellow and gold hues of the package and the Ylang-Ylang drawings.
Dried Pineapple – Marigold conveys prosperity to Thai people, while also being the auspicious flower for many ceremonies. The tangy-sweet taste of dried pineapple and the bright colors match seamlessly with Marigold drawings on this package giving them a sense of comfort, care and love.
Mixed fruits (Pineapple, Mango, and Papaya) – For the more adventurous, the mixed flavors of Pineapple, Mango and Papaya mixed fruit package is represented by Canna Flower drawings, which correspond to blessings and protection of holy spirits and happiness in the family.
