The brand name reflects the company identity form Messinia. south of Peloponnese in Greece, it leverages the unique artistic ethos of the region. Blending a beautiful South-European minimalism with a carefully manicured disorder, Notio brings the charm of Greek aesthetics into the packaging of the bottle.
Look closely into the logo Notio .. the elongated T cutting across the text in contrasting caramel orange gives it a touch of distinctiveness which stands out. Yet, it suitably forms the central connection between several lines of text in the product description. As they say .. southern Europeans see things a “a touch differently”. The logic, the rules might be a little askew from our general outlook of order, but it works.
The beauty of artistic disorder doesn’t interfere with the Olive green bottle color which perfectly represents the Olive oil, yet it is unlike the other transparent bottles of this genre. Design agency The Comeback have crafted the idea.
