Premium organic cider soft drink brand design from Ashridge reboot their brand identity with a colorful, vibrant depiction of their fruity flavors.
Based in Devon, U.K. – Ashridge has long been a well known name in the field of organic ciders and sparkling soft drinks with a flavorful dash of fruitiness. With the recent challenges in the crowded product category they approached Buddy design agency who paired with Lemnos. The result was a vibrant, rich and warm infusion of colors and modern art in their fresh, new graphical representation.
The visual association with fruits remained, only with a touch of more neo-noir art on the labels. It is easy to identify the bottles even in the busy supermarket shelf due to their cool illustrations of fruits and artistic representation of both shape and color of the fruit which conveys the flavor of the product within. True to the product identity, they kept details about the product, flavor type and other such texts minimal and pushed it to the corner, relying on visual identification instead.
The geometric nature of labeling give the bottles a touch of elegant, premium quality as well – rightly making a statement that cool need not mean frivolous – it could be classy too.
