Shot Glass Holder package design from Backhouse delivers a creative packaging structure to hold and protect six breakable glassware, a brand image and packaging graphics.
Designer Yuya Yoshida beautifully blends the carefree, cult motif of Wild West theme – complete with revolver barrel like structure to hold six shots. The fable created to accompany the design was centered around Bill Backhouse, a fictional character who indulged in drinking duels with his rivals. At a time when gunmen settled their disputes by fiery duels, one man became notorious for challenging his opponents into a drinking game. Rarely did the beaten walk out alive (or sober enough to be alive for much longer!). His student project was instructed by Professor Thomas McNulty at Academy of Art, San Francisco (USA).
The exclusive brand design, classic label and the 1950s movie theme font with a smoke-gray and black background perfectly accentuates the brand outlines. The holder, true to its revolver theme .. can rotate until the baddest of them all, finishes their shots in one swift swig after another.
The case is crafted using wood. The bourbon whiskey bottle also incorporates the logo and the branding with the Wild West theme which seamlessly blends into their shot glass holder look.
