Taylor Swift Incredible things perfume bottle design for her latest fragrance is playful, feminine and creative, much like the artist herself.
Collaborating with Taylor Swift and Elizabeth Arden Fragrances, illustrator Bella Towse indulges in watercolour and ink illustrations, inspired by the scents composition of creamy woods and velvety petals wrapped in a soft veil of musk and vanilla.
She says “I was so excited when I got this brief as Taylor is such an amazing personality. She epitomises the modern young woman. I felt a big responsibility to produce work that not only she would love but that her fans would love too.”
She paired with London, UK based design agency Pearlfisher, to create a series of illustrations, which were floral, sweet and yet had a contemporary flourish. “Taylor’s image is now so iconic that I decided to create a series of more recognizable portraits of her.. In the end Taylor loved them and one of them now appears on the back of the pack. I am so proud of that.”
The musician herself loved it. “I love that the images we used are based on watercolor illustrations.” She also complimented Pearlfisher’s creative director, Tess Wicksteed, and communications officer Sarah Codraro on bringing alive the concept.
The vivid bright hues provide a rich contrast against the white background, while the touch of gold on the sprayer lends it the essential class. The name of the fragrance is borrowed from her popular song “Blank Space“
