Williams Sonoma gourmet coffee package design has a simple, sophisticated design which stays true to the brand image for quality products and complex flavors.
American design agency Pavement paired with Penfield, took on the challenge to carry the legacy forward with these sophisticated, complex colors and mix of a distinctive type-font, and a color palette which looks suitably elite. The exclusive taste, brew and blend of each coffee flavor is conveyed appropriately.
Each package design incorporate the product category (coffee) in big, cursive fonts with the blend just below. The origin then finds a smaller real -estate with the representation of the coffee beans. Note the twin ‘f’s in Coffee shaped like the steam coming out of a piping hot cup ‘o’joe. The signature blends (Ethiopian, Columbian and from Sumatra, Indonesia) makes for a small, but quality selection.
It is a perfect tribute to over fifty years of excellence from Williams Sonoma. Gourmet coffee for the ones who know the best.
